Privacy

What we do with your data, in plain English.

The short version: we collect what you send us so we can answer it, we keep the supplier list short, and we do not sell or share anything with advertisers.

01Who we are

EASTWIND CLUSTER LIMITED ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through https://eastwindcluster.com. We are registered in England & Wales under company number 15485126.

Registered office: C/O External Accounts, Central House, 20 Central Avenue, St Andrews Business Park, Norwich, Norfolk, NR7 0HR, United Kingdom. For anything to do with privacy, email support@eastwindcluster.com — it reaches a person, not a ticket queue.

02What we collect

We collect only what you give us, plus the minimum our hosting produces automatically.

  • Contact form: your name, email address, and anything you choose to put in the company, website, budget and message fields.
  • Email: whatever you send us, and our replies.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider records IP addresses and request details for security and reliability. These are not used to profile anyone.
  • Local storage: a single flag recording that you dismissed the cookie notice. It never leaves your browser.

03Why we use it

To answer your enquiry, to carry out work you have asked us to do, and to keep records of our correspondence for as long as they are useful to that relationship.

We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not add enquirers to a marketing list. If we ever start a newsletter, it will be something you opt into deliberately.

05Who processes it with us

We keep the list of suppliers short, and each of them only sees what they need to do their job.

  • Our hosting provider, which runs the servers this site is served from.
  • Our email delivery provider, which passes contact form submissions to our inbox.
  • Our email and document providers, where correspondence and project files are stored.
  • Our accountants, for the records they are required to keep.

06International transfers

Some of these suppliers operate outside the UK. Where personal data leaves the UK it is protected by the safeguards required under UK GDPR, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

07How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become work: kept while there is a realistic prospect of a conversation, then deleted.
  • Client correspondence and project files: kept for the duration of the engagement and for as long as we may need them to answer a question about the work.
  • Financial records: kept for the period UK tax law requires.

08Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to our processing it, or ask us to restrict it. Email us and we will action it — there is no form to complete.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.

09Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiries and client files is limited to the people working on them, and protected by strong authentication. No system is perfect, so we also keep the amount of personal data we hold deliberately small.

10Children

This is a business-to-business site. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

11Changes to this policy

The version published here is the current one. If we make a change that materially affects how we handle your data, we will say so on this page in plain terms.

Anything unclear, or want your data removed? Email support@eastwindcluster.com and it will be dealt with by a person.
